Bill found this song in the dialect book ‘Nummits & Crummits’ by Sarah Hewitt and composed the tune for it. One of the few songs to mention mining on Dartmoor, it also mentions Dartmoor pixies and the Saracen’s Head which is now the Two Bridges Hotel.
